Prenzlauer Berg is one of the most cosy and relaxed Bezirke in Berlin where you will be able to find a nice restaurant on basically each and every corner of most streets. Of course there are big favourites, such as the Helmholzplatz, the Kollwitzplatz and other silly little streets off the Schönhauser Allee. A few weeks ago we were browsing the streets around Eberswalder Straße, inbetween the Kollwitzplatz. Here you find – among many others – the classical restaurant called November.

If you live or hang out in Prenzlauer Berg on occassion, you may have heard of Anna Blume. It is a small (yet not too small) café/ restaurant and a plant shop rolled into one. It might come across as an odd, but very pleasurable combination and it is a place worth visiting. Anna Blume is the absolute crème de la crème when it comes to fabulous sunday brunch locations.

Another restaurant that I have visited many times and only briefly mentioned in my reviews. So today it is time for Zaza, a posh-y semi-professional cocktail and sushi bar on the Kastanienallee. Everyone who has ever read this blog before knows that I absolutely adore sushi, so the concept of a bar/ restaurant that specialised

A couple of weeks ago, me and a collegue sat down at a small Vietnamese restaurant for a luscious strawberry caipi cocktail. The staff were so nice and friendly and the whole look of the place – especially inside – was so inviting that I decided to save this specific restaurant in my mental list of To-Do restaurants. And when I had a visitor, a couple of weeks later – I knew just the right restaurant for the evening and I dragged my companion to Onkel Ho…

Hidden away in the geographic climax of Prenzlauer Berg, a small Greek restaurant called Tourlou opens its doors every evening to welcome hungry guests. I live basically around the corner from the little restaurant and as a satisfied customer, I thought it was time to write my piece on this little Greek treasure.

Strolling arround the Bergmannstraße often leads to ‘unwanted’ drinks and dinners. Last Friday night, we accidentally stumbled into the cosy Milagro, where sipping wine became ordering main courses.

About a week ago, I found myself in the fascinating situation of having dinner with my boss. But where does one takes ones boss without scaring him, but with still leaving a good impression? A small, shiny and sexy Vietnamese location in Berlin Mitte came to the rescue.

One of our favourite sushi locations in Friedrichshain is Le Coq D’or (The golden cock), on the Boxhagener Straße. Only around the corner from the popular Simon Dach Kiez, is a rather semi-large restaurant with a large collection of sushi on offer. Yes, the deco might be a bit off and yes, it is not your average hoity toity super sleek sushi saloon. But do not judge a book by its cover.
